Support and accountability are two essential components of behavior change and goal achievement. Sometimes it can be hard to find that right support person however now our smartphones can help keep us on track toward meeting our goals. Many applications for smartphones and tablets will count calories, sleep, water intake, and even take you through an exercise routine. Below is a short list of excellent apps and websites focused on health.

  • Sparkpeople.com – An online community support as well as a calorie tracker, exercise ideas, and more.
  • My Fitness Pal – A smartphone app which is free and provides a daily calorie, water, and exercise tracker. Articles written by health professionals are posted on the app and through email regularly.
